Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :

  • Arrive in Varanasi and check into your hotel.

  • First visit Kal Bhairav Temple.

  • Later visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most sacred temples in India.

  • Explore the narrow lanes of the old city and its bustling markets.

  • Have lunch at a local restaurant and try traditional Banarasi cuisine like Kachori Sabzi or Choora Matar.

  • Visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, and explore Dhamek Stupa, Archaeological Museum, and Mulagandha Kuti Vihar.

  • Experience the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a mesmerizing spiritual ritual, followed by a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the beautifully lit ghats.

  • Enjoy dinner at a riverside restaurant and stay overnight in Varanasi.

Day 2 :

Highlight - Kal bhairav | Kashi Vishwanath | Saarnath | Ganga Aarti

  • Start the day with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, witnessing the morning rituals and the serene beauty of the river.

  • Visit Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat, two sacred cremation sites of Varanasi.

Day 4 :

  • Depart early for Ayodhya (approx. 3.5 hours drive).

  • Have lunch at a local restaurant and explore Kanak Bhavan, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita.
